Why I’m Loving BioTrust Low Carb

  • Hey everyone,

I wanted to share my thoughts on a product I’ve been using for the past few weeks—BioTrust Low Carb. I’ve been on the hunt for a protein powder that aligns with my dietary goals without compromising on taste or quality, and I think I might have found a winner.

    Here’s why I’m loving it:

Taste: The flavor is really smooth (I went for the chocolate one), and it blends well with almond milk or just water. No weird aftertaste!

Low Carb: It fits perfectly into my low-carb lifestyle, which I’ve been trying to stick to lately.

Gentle on Stomach: This has been a huge deal for me—I’ve tried other protein powders that made me feel bloated, but this one has been great.

I’ve been mostly using it as a post-workout shake or a quick breakfast when I’m in a rush. It’s been keeping me full and energized throughout the day.

I’d love to hear from others who’ve tried it—any recipe tips or creative ways to use it? Always looking to mix things up!

  • I’ve been using BioTrust Low Carb too, and I couldn’t agree more with you about the taste! I’ve tried so many protein powders that either tasted artificial or didn’t mix well, but this one has been a game-changer for me...

I usually mix the vanilla flavor with unsweetened almond milk and add a handful of frozen berries it turns into this creamy, fruity shake that’s perfect for breakfast. Sometimes I even throw in a little peanut butter for extra flavor.

I’ve also experimented with baking used it in some low-carb protein muffins last week, and they turned out surprisingly good. If you’re into baking, it’s worth trying!

  • Curious, have you tried the other flavors? I’ve been debating whether to stick with vanilla or branch out to the chocolate one next.😀

  • @Michael A.

Hey Michael, Thanks for sharing your experience! I haven’t tried the vanilla flavor yet, but your berry and almond milk combo sounds amazing.

I’m definitely going to give that a try. I’ve mostly stuck to the chocolate one because I’m a huge chocolate fan, but now you’ve got me curious about experimenting with other flavors.

I’ve never thought about using it in baking, though! Protein muffins sound like a great idea. Do you have a go-to recipe, or did you just wing it? I’d love to try something like that for a quick snack option.

Let me know how you like the chocolate flavor if you decide to go for it. Always fun to hear how others are using it!

  • @Sarah Johnson You should definitely try the muffins 😃 I kept it super simple—used 2 scoops of the vanilla protein powder, 1/2 cup almond flour, a couple of eggs, a splash of almond milk to get the right consistency, and a handful of blueberries. Just mix it all up and bake at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes. They’re great for a quick grab-and-go snack. If you like chocolate, you could probably swap the vanilla for the chocolate flavor and maybe toss in some dark chocolate chips or walnuts. Let me know if you try it... I’m always tweaking the recipe! Oh, and if you do end up trying the vanilla, let me know how it compares. I might have to go for chocolate next time.

  • Thanks, Michael! That recipe sounds super easy. I’ll definitely give it a try this weekend. Appreciate the tips! I think I’ll stick with the chocolate for now, but I’ll keep the vanilla in mind for when I want to mix it up. Thanks again for sharing!!!!

  • What’s up, everyone? Loving this thread!

I’m all about BioTrust Low Carb too, been hooked on the chocolate flavor lately. I usually just blend it with almond milk, but Michael that muffin recipe? Genius. Definitely trying that out this weekend probably gonna toss in some walnuts or maybe a swirl of peanut butter for kicks.

Oh, and has anyone tried throwing it in their coffee? I’m thinking of whipping up a protein mocha situation like chocolate + coffee = win, right? If anyone’s done it, let me know how it turned out!

Keep the ideas coming, y’all. This convo’s giving me life! 😎
